Aerotec developed this fire fighting system, based on the MIL MI 14 helicopter, which was converted for civil use, from a marine helicopter. The following operations are possible: - Mass drops to fight large fire spots - Water curtain for fires on grassland and wide bush areas- Water cannon, for the effective and punctual fighting of local hot spots, as well as fires in high rise buil-dings, industrial areas or any other area, from the ground not reachable.- Adding certain additives to the water, from a special
tank inside the helicopter, can be used to generate
foam layers as well as special effects desired by
the firefighters.All our crews are highly experienced pilots in heli- copter operation and in fighting fires and form a very special team together with the ground crews. Our Helicopters are maintained to high standards and we carry, proper spares tools and equipment on every base, to ensure a high dispatch reliability. The strength and ruggedness of this helicopter system, ensures operation in critical conditions with a high reliability and still at a low cost factor. |
